About This Course
This course introduces key leadership staff to the fundamentals of data protection, data governance,
and compliance with Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Through practical
examples, interactive quizzes, and role-specific guidance, learners will gain clarity on their
responsibilities in safeguarding personal and institutional data.

Requirements
- Dear Participants,
- This session will cover the core concepts of Data Protection, Data Management, and Data
- Governance, with a focus on the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Sri Lanka. The
- content is tailored specifically for school management members and relevant staff.
- During the session:
- • Each section of the content will be explained using PowerPoint slides.
- • After each slide, you will be asked to answer three related questions.
- • At the end of the presentation, you will be given a final quiz.
- The final quiz will consist of 10 questions based on the session content. You will have 20 minutes
- to complete it. Your score, including a breakdown of correct and incorrect answers, will be recorded
- and shared with you via email.
- Please make sure to answer the questions immediately after each slide and participate actively in the
- final quiz.
